2020 CHAN: Cameroon’s Sports Minister appoints Site Committee heads

Cameroon’s Minister of Sport and Physical Education, Prof. Narcisse Mouelle Kombi has made known the site Committee heads for the 2020 African Nation Championship (CHAN) which Cameroon will host next April.

The Composition for the Site committee members is contained in a communiqué dated November 11,2019 and signed by the Sports supremo who doubles as the President of the Local Organizing committee of the CHAN.

The Governor’s of the Centre Region, Littoral and South West Region will lead the site committee of Yaounde, Douala and Limbe and will be assisted by Rapporteur’s ( made up of Regional League Federations and government delegates of the regions mentioned) as well members.

The decision also spells out the duties of the chairpersons, vice Chairpersons, Rapporteur’s as well as commission site technical commission.

Yaoundé, Douala and Limbe will stage the competition reserved for home based players in 2020

The African Nations Championship will kickoff on April 4th, and will run still the 25th of April 2020.

The draw for the competition takes place in January next. The date is yet to be announced.
