2020 UNIFFAC: Cameroon en route to Equatorial Guinea

• The U-20 men’s national football team is poised to emerge victorious and grab a spot for the 2020 Under 20 African Cup of Nations in Mauritania

Cameroon’s Under-20 National football team left the country this morning ahead of the 2020 Union of Football Federations of Central Africa (UNIFFAC) Zonal tournament to take place in Equatorial Guinea from December 15th to the 22nd 2020. 

The team has been in camp at the CAF excellence Centre in Mbankomo where they have been fine tuning tactics ahead of the Zonal tournament and have played a couple of warm-up games with amazing results. 

Twenty-one (21) players from 30 pre-selected called to camp were selected by Coach Ousmanou Christophe for the six nation tournament which serves as qualification for the 2021 under 20 African Cup of Nations in Mauritania. 

Cameroon will face the Democratic Repulblic of Congo and Congo Republic in group B. 

Host Equatorial Guinea, Chad, Central African Republic complete group A. 

Two stadiums have been retained to stage matches; Estadio Nacional de Malabo et Estadio de Robola.
