Cameroon and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are taking cooperation to another level as both nations on Monday agreed to lay the groundwork for security and military ties.
After holding talks with President Biya at the Unity Palace, the Saudi Vice Minister of Defence, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Ayesh held a working session with Cameroon’s Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence, Joseph Beti Assomo. During the meeting Al-Ayesh disclosed that the Saudi Government envisages investing in the security and military sectors in Cameroon.
“We will continue to strengthen the excellent cooperation ties existing between Yaounde and Riyadh” Biya tweeted after a brief audience with Ayesh.
