It is the second successive defeat for the Under-19 Volleyball Lions who had lost their opening pool C game to Thailand 1 set to 3 on Wednesday.

Similar tragedy was felt in their second outing against pool leaders Russia as they were overpowered 25-17, 26-24 and 25-19.

Cameroon-who currently sit bottom of their pool- face Belgium in their third encounter this Friday with hopes to secure their first victory of the competition. A win for the debutant will be a great booster before they conclude their group fixtures against Bulgaria

Both nations have endured a difficult start in the competition with Belgium-Cameroon next opponent-winless in their first two games.

The 20-nation tournament will run until September 2, 2021.
