Indomitable Lions skipper Eric Maxime Choupo Moting scored his first Champions League goal as European champions Bayern of Munich ended the group stage of the European elite club competition unbeaten after a 2-0 win over Locomotiv Moscow.
The former Paris Saint Germain forward thumped in the second goal to seal a win for the Bundesliga giants after teammate Niklas Sule opened the scoring with a powering header.
Bayern Munich have won five of their Champions League group matches with only one draw. The Bavarians won all eleven (11) games en route to winning the trophy last term and are poised to retain their this year.
Choupo-Moting, joined Bayern Munich in October 2020. He’s enjoyed a superb start in Germany. Bayern top the Bundeliga after 10 playing days with just a point gab over rivals Leverkusen.
