The President of the Republic of Cameroon has followed up on his announcement of the creation of Universities in three regions with a decree effecting its creation.
By this decree, signed on January 05, 2022 by the Head of State himself, three more State Universities will be constructed in the East Region, the North Region, and the South Region.
The creation of these Universities will take the total number of State Higher Institutions in Cameroon up to 11 Universities, with each of the 10 regions in Cameroon boasting of a University and the Centre Region boasting of 2 universities.
Following the announcement of the creation of these Universities, some elites of these regions have expressed their delight with President Paul Biya for these Institutions.
On January 03, 2022, a part of the population of the South Region came out in a march to show their gratitude towards the President for the Creation of the University of Ebolowa.
Meanwhile, Senator Aboubakari Abdoulaye of the CPDM has a meeting scheduled today with some elites of the North Region. The agenda of this meeting will be to show their gratitude to the Head of State for the Creation of the University of Garoua.
