The presence of Africa’s football royalty and legends added more colours and excitement to the historic event-considered to be one of the most remarkable in the tournament’s history.
Cameroon last played host to the AFCON in 1972. And for the first time in close to five decades, the nation is poised to stage the most ‘exciting and successful AFCON’ as CAF president Dr Patrice Motsepe believes.
