Mohamed Salah’s boots become museum exhibit

The football icon Mohamed Salah keeps on breaking records and now the Liverpool star has even entered into the British Museum.

The museum wanted to pay tribute to the forward and have gone as far as putting a pair of his boots in their exhibit to Ancient Egypt.

“We’ve made an exciting new acquisition!” the museum posted on Twitter.

“To celebrate Egyptian footballing star Mohamed Salah being top scorer in the Premier League this season, we’ll be displaying his boots alongside objects from ancient Egypt in the run up to the Champions League final.”

Neal Spencer, the keeper of the exhibition, said that his boots are a symbol of modern day Egypt.

“The boots tell a story of a modern Egyptian icon, performing in the UK with a truly global impact and its build on our recent project to acquire objects to tell the story of daily life in 20th and 21st century Egypt,” he explained.

Salah will line up for the Reds against Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev on May 26.
