Cameroon international Nchout Njoya Ajara scored her first goal for her new club Inter Milan to inspire them to a slim 1-0 win against AS Roma.
The former Valerenga forward came off the bench in the second half to score a late winner for the Italian club five minutes to stoppage time as they returned to winning ways.
Ajara, 28 made her debut in her team’s heavy 0-4 defeat to Sampdoria last week. But she did not fail to leave a tremendous impact in her second appearance helping her team secure a vital win when the game almost seemed destined for a barren draw.
Inter Milan now sit fourth in the Women’s Serie A table with 12 points after six matches played. They have won four games this season with a draw and a defeat.
Nchout Njoya Ajara will aim to replicate her fine form when Inter Milan takes on champions Juventus in their next league game on October 30.
The Indomitable Lionesses striker joined Inter Milan women’s team from Atletico Madrid in a deal that is expected to run till June 2022.
