Cameroon international forward Nchout Ajara has signed a two year deal with the Norwegian Club Valerenga. The club confirmed the signing today on their twitter handle.
The 2016 Vice Africa champion had spent 2 years at her former club Sandviken before moving to her present club still in the Norwegian league.
The 25 year old Cameroonian emblematic forward scored 18 goals for the club with 15 league goals in 19 matches during a season in 22 appearances.
Ajara was instrumental in getting her team to the final of the Norwegian Women’s Cup netting trice during the semis.
She however was unavailable for the final as she was on international duty; the 2018 Women Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana where Cameroon secured a third spot making it to the world cup finals in France next year.
Cameroon’s qualification for the world Cup finals in France came after a 4-2 win over Mali in a highly disputed third place play-off match where Nchout Ajara was contributory.
In total the former Sandviken star scored two goals for the Indomitable Lionesses at the 2018 Women Nations Cup in Ghana.
Her brilliant achievements within the ranks of the club made her earn a nomination for Player of the Year in Norway’s women’s top-flight League.
