Zambia created goal scoring chances first. They missed the chance to open the scoring after a silly defensive error from the Intermediate Lions but the shot was blocked by a last dirge tackle  to prevent damage.

Collins Sikombe found the breakthrough for Zambia five minutes into the second half from a fine tap-in while Zacharia Chilongoshi fired a powerful left shot to double tally after he was left unmarked from a well taken corner kick.

Zambia drew 3-3 with Niger and lost to Uganda 2-0 before clinching a famous win. The team is expected to leave for Limbe this Fiday to continue their preparations for the CHAN.

They face Guinea, Namibia and Tanzania in group D of the 2021 CHAN.
