President Biya to meet Ministerial Council for the first time in three years

President Paul Biya has convened a meeting with the Ministerial Council for the first time since October 15, 2015, at the Unity Palace in Etoudi, Yaoundé, in a release today signed by the Secretary General at the Presidency, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh.

According to the release for the Unity Palace, the Head of State will meet the entire cabinet on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 11 am. They include; the prime minister, his deputy, ministers of state, ministers, deputy ministers and secretaries of state. As at now, the agenda for the meeting has not been disclosed yet.

The last Cabinet meeting was held on October 15, 2015, shortly after another partial cabinet shake up on October 2.

During this meeting, Mr. Biya instructed his ministers to accelerate “preparations for the important sports celebration, he was on the 2016 and 2019 AFCON Games”.

The cabinet will have some new faces; the newly appointed in the latest partial cabinet reshuffle.
