SOUTH AFRICA BUILDS UP FOR FRANCE 2019

The Banyana Banyana of South Africa have put behind the 2018 AWCON final defeat to Nigeria earlier this month and are set for France 2019 ,the biggest global event of women football.

The South Africa Football Federation ,SAFA, have lined up a series of international friendly for the South Africa female national team to prepare ahead of the competition.

South Africa qualified for the FIFA Women’s World Cup for the first time after beating Mali 2-0 in their semi-final clash on Tuesday in Cape Coast.

According to soka25, SAFA has organized build up matches with top flight nations in Europe.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup draw will take place tomorrow Saturday, 8 December 2018 and coach Desiree Ellis, will represent the Vice African champions alongside SAFA President Dr. Danny Jordaan who was invited by FIFA President Giani Infantino.

The friendly match between Banyana Banyana of South Africa and USA will take place at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, 12 May 2019.
