Tokyo 2020 Qualifiers: Abam & Ngo Ndom absent for Cameroon as Coach summons players

Beng Emmanuel, Buea. The head coach of Cameroon’s female National football team Alain Djeumfa has called up 29 players to camp ahead of a fourth round qualifier game against Ivory Coast this month.

Goalkeeper Annette Ngo Ndom and Real Betis forward Micheala Abam are the major absentees in the list of 29.

Former Caiman girls captain, Alvine Njolle who just won a domestic double ; League Cup and Championship title in Belarus will make her return for the 2016 Vice African Champions.

Valarenga on-form striker Nchout Njoya Ajara , Russian Women’s League Champion with CSKA Moscow Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene, Feudjio Raissa and teenage rising star Collette Ndzana are among the preselected players.

Meanwhile Tim Shalom of Vision Sport Bamenda has earned her first national team call up. The talented skipper impressed during the launch of the female league against Canon although her team lost the game 5-2.

The first leg fixtures comes up on November 9th,2019 in Ivory Coast with the return leg in Yaounde 3 days later.
