· The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon face South Africa and Ghana in group B of the six nation invitational tournament in Lagos.

2016 Women’s vice African champions Cameroon are drawn against familiar rivals South Africa’s Bayana Bayana and the Black Queens of Ghana in group B of the 2021 Aisha Buhari Cup.
The six women’s nation invitational tournament which is in its maiden edition will take place from September 13-20, 2021 in Lagos.
In the other group, the Super Falcons of Nigeria face Morocco and Mali. The record winners of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AWCON) are tipped as outright favourites of the competition.
A total of 10 matches including the group games, the semi-finals, third place and final will be played in two venues; the Onikan and Agege stadia.
The draw for the maiden edition of the Nigeria’s first lady invitational tournament dubbed Aisha Buhari Cup was made this Wednesday by the director of organization and Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) chairperson Ms Aisha Falode.
Cameroon national women’s team are currently in camp at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo ahead of next month’s invitational tournament.
Thirty (30) local based players were selected by the head coach Gabriel Zabo for the training camp that will run until August 21.
